The ideal candidate will have strong experience in roofing sales management, with a deep understanding of the roofing industry and the ability on roofing products and effective sales techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and motivate the roofing sales team.

Train and coach sales representatives on roofing products and effective sales techniques.

Monitor individual and team sales performance.

Establish sales goals and track KPIs.

Support sales representatives throughout the sales process.

Assist with complex sales opportunities and help close deals when needed.

Review leads, appointments, estimates, and sales pipelines.

Ensure proper follow-up with potential customers.

Work closely with Operations and other departments to ensure a smooth transition from sale to project completion.

Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase sales performance.

Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and developing new sales representatives.

Requirements

Proven experience in roofing sales and/or roofing management.

  • Strong knowledge of residential roofing systems, materials, and installation.
  • Experience with siding, windows, gutters, soffit & fascia, and other exterior home improvement services.
  • Ability to identify when a roof needs repair, maintenance, or full replacement.
  • Understanding of common roofing issues, including leaks, damaged shingles, flashing problems, ventilation issues, and storm damage.
  • Ability to evaluate a customer's home improvement needs and recommend the appropriate solution.
  • Experience providing estimates and discussing roofing and exterior remodeling options with homeowners.
  • Previous experience managing, training, or leading a sales team.
  • Strong knowledge of the complete sales process, from lead generation and inspection through closing and project handoff.
  • Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to evaluate sales opportunities and help representatives close difficult deals.
  • Strong understanding of sales KPIs and performance management.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to customer appointments when needed.
