We're looking for motivated Field Inspector/Testers to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of transportation, commercial, municipal, and heavy civil construction projects while gaining valuable experience in both construction inspection and materials testing.

As a Field Inspector/Tester, you'll spend your time in the field inspecting construction activities, performing quality assurance observations, testing construction materials, documenting project progress, and working alongside engineers, contractors, and project managers to help ensure every project is built safely and to specification.

What You'll Do

As a Field Inspector/Tester, you'll play a vital role in ensuring construction projects meet quality standards, engineering specifications, and client expectations.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Inspect construction activities to verify compliance with project plans, specifications, and applicable standards.
  • Perform field testing of concrete, soil, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials.
  • Observe concrete placement, asphalt paving, earthwork, grading, utilities, drainage systems, structural components, sidewalks, ADA improvements, curb and gutter, and other construction activities.
  • Collect material samples and perform field or laboratory testing.
  • Document daily inspection activities and prepare accurate field reports.
  • Identify construction deficiencies and communicate findings to engineers, contractors, and project managers.
  • Operate testing equipment and maintain calibration records.
  • Promote a safe work environment by following company and client safety policies.
  • Travel to construction projects throughout Arizona as needed.
