Job description

The R&D Project Management Intern will support active new product introduction (NPI) and sustaining engineering initiatives within a fast-paced R&D environment. This role will assist with project planning, timeline management, risk tracking, documentation organization, and cross-functional team coordination to help drive projects from concept through execution. The intern will also contribute to process improvement activities, prepare project updates, and support technical or laboratory-based tasks as needed based on current business priorities. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in an engineering or scientific discipline and possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with an interest in product development and working within a regulated technical environment.

Responsibilities
The intern will support active R&D NPI project initiatives by assisting with project planning, timeline tracking, risk logs, and team coordination. They will help organize program documentation, prepare team updates, and support process optimization activities within the project lifecycle. Specific NPI or sustaining project(s) to cover is TBD based on the pipeline at the time and where resource demand is most prevalent.
Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.

  • Demonstrated interest in research, product development, or laboratorybased experimentation within a regulated or technical environment.

  • Ability to follow defined testing protocols, document results accurately, and analyze experimental data with attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced R&D setting.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with lab equipment, CAD tools, or data analysis software is a plus.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and present findings clearly.

The estimated hourly rate/salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $24/Hr.-$26/Hr.

Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
