Job description

The role of the Testing Center Coordinator is to manage daily test accommodations in the ACCESS office. This is a crucial role for student success. Students with accommodations come to the ACCESS office to take their tests in a reduced distraction environment.

The daily responsibilities will include:

  • Manage testing schedule and testing spaces
  • Communicate clearly with students and faculty regarding testing
  • Manage the downloading and uploading of tests through the use of Bison Accommodate to ensure test integrity
  • Proctor tests by setting students up in the rooms and monitoring the cameras.
  • Work with the other ACCESS Team members to provide one-on-one testing accommodations as needed (read aloud, scribe, etc.)
  • Maintain confidentiality with students and testing material
  • Work individually with students on strategies, as needed
  • Learn and be able to troubleshoot scheduling software
  • Keep data and run reports relevant to testing center
  • Other duties as assigned

 Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required

Position Specifics:

  • Part time, 9 month position- August 1 to April 30
  • 7:30 - 3:30 or 8:00 - 4:00
