Microbiology Assistant
Our client is actively hiring a Microbiology Assistant to support their growing laboratory team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build hands-on experience in the cosmetics industry, with strong training provided and a proven track record of contractors converting to permanent employees.
**Looking to interview week of June 22 and have someone start first week of July!
Assignment Length: 3-6+ months (with potential to extend or convert)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p M-F
  • No weekends
  • Optional overtime available
    Pay Rate: $19-$20/hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform aseptic techniques and quality-related laboratory tasks, including:
    • Plate streaking
    • Coring plates
    • Accurate documentation
  • Prepare and maintain microbiology media and materials for the Microbiology Technician team.
  • Support all preparatory work required for microbiological testing.
  • Assist with general lab organization and cleanliness.
  • This is an entry/assistant-level role; no bench testing or instrumentation work is required.
