Job description

Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the direction of the Director, Technology and working with the District Technology Support Technicians and school staff, prioritize, schedule, track, document and perform technical services at school sites including end-user support, desktop/device support, documentation, system administration, imaging, e-mail, and device configuration and deployment. Troubleshoot Apple and Microsoft computer and software problems, mobile devices and perform basic network administration and management tasks as directed by the District Technology Support Technician and/or Network Engineer. Work with the District Technology Support Technician to assure all technologies integrate effectively with local and wide area networks. Provide support and maintenance to a wide range of educational technology tools and activities. Support network and technology systems through training, consultation, and service coordination.

Employment with the Pajaro Valley Unified School District is not complete or official until applicants meet all pre-employment requirements, including Board of Trustee approval. As part of the selection process, all new employees are required to provide the following information: new employees must be fingerprinted (paid by the District); TB test (paid by the employee); social security card; picture identification; and authorization to work (I-9).
PAY DAYS: Limited-Term employees are paid on the 10th of each month.
