We are recruiting for a RF Test Software Development Engineer to join Qorvo's High Performance Analog (HPA). The incumbent will provide support to the Test Engineering Group to continuously improve our test measurement capabilities and capacity. This position will be based in Richardson, TX.

Key Roles and responsibilities:

  • Design and integrate test solutions to support RF characterization from DC to mmW frequencies
  • Ability to support test station setup, troubleshooting, maintenance  
  • Support product characterization during product development phase including characterization plan definition
  • Contribute to the test engineering roadmap  
  • Expand our existing test automation framework and test coverage
  • Implement and contribute to SQA
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to support engineering test development projects
  • Implement methodology to support testing earlier into the software development process
  • Create test software documentations, procedures, and reports
  • Support design validation testing of various RF product lines  
  • Contribute to SQL database development

Technical Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in RF testing required
  • Highly knowledgeable with RF test hardware
  • Proficient with API development for test automation
  • Load Pull measurement knowledges is a plus
  • Proficient in automated test including design, development, and maintenance
  • Highly knowledgeable with Python, C++, C# programming languages
  • In depth knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision

Desired experiences:

  • Excellent communication, meeting facilitation and presentation skills
  • Capable of obtaining US Secret clearance
  • Position requires limited travel

Required Education & Experience:

  • BS degree (or greater) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
