Depending on the industry, you can work in entry-level positions in information technology or for a specific analyst company. This career requires a flexible schedule, as you may work evenings or weekends as problems arise. Your job duties can include running tests, identifying faults, participating in the software development process, validating that a program or application meets all technical and business requirements, documenting the results, and reporting the outcome.
