Job Summary:
Tesla's System Validation Go Test team delivers an innovative in-vehicle user experience to customers. The role involves testing prototype firmware, troubleshooting infotainment firmware issues, and documenting test cases and troubleshooting steps in detail.
Responsibilities:
• Test prototype firmware across varying existing and new vehicle platforms
• Troubleshoot Infotainment related firmware issues and develop reproduction steps
• Precisely document test cases improvements and troubleshooting steps in detail
• Execute commands/scripts in Linux terminal to diagnose and gather additional data
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong QA and testing philosophy
• Strong problem solving skills
• Familiar with issue tracking software (i.e., JIRA)
• Detail oriented, able to follow step-by-step instructions precisely
• Proficiency in deconstructing and analyzing firmware capabilities from a customer's perspective to identify potential vulnerabilities
• Aspiration to develop software skills with the potential of transitioning into a software-focused role at Tesla
