What to Expect

Tesla is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to work on Tesla's enterprise Factory Execution Systems. These systems include factory planning, manufacturing execution system, lineside execution systems, and quality systems. Combined, the Factory Execution Systems provide real-time control, monitoring, and data collection for production activities at Tesla.

In this role, you will contribute to the product vision and roadmap for these systems, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams involving Product, Engineering, Quality, Controls, and Process Engineering.

What You'll Do
  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to enhance and optimize Tesla's Factory Execution Systems
  • Lead cross‑functional collaboration with Product, Design, Engineering, QA, and Production Support teams to drive the development and continuous improvement of the systems
  • Design and deploy intuitive, user‑centric solutions that simplify complex workflows and leverage automation, AI agents, and LLMs at scale
  • Translate customer and internal team pain points into intuitive, scalable product features
  • Write clear product requirements, prioritize ruthlessly, and partner with engineering and design to deliver innovative, high‑quality solutions at speed
  • Use data, experimentation, and feedback loops to continuously refine the platform, improving conversion, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate across global operations to adapt workflows to diverse regulatory and market requirements without sacrificing simplicity
What You'll Bring
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on manufacturing systems
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • Experience implementing AI solutions and LLMs is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to query and interpret data, trends, and algorithms, demonstrating comfort with logic and numbers to support decision-making
  • A proactive mindset, with a bias toward taking action based on available information and the ability to work through ambiguity
  • Success in leading new initiatives, driving results with limited resources and evolving information
  • Effective collaboration across cross‑functional teams, balancing multiple competing priorities and fostering alignment among diverse stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication is a must

Expected Compensation

$136,000 - $264,000 annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits.

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
