This includes a full-line of perfusion products, endoscopic vessel harvesting products and surgical stabilization products. Job Summary

This position is responsible for developing attainable production schedules and may also be responsible for purchasing raw material to support the production schedule.

Job Details/Responsibilities

1.  In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures. 
2.  Obtain raw materials to support the production schedule, proactively manage the transition of materials from the supplier, and identify/resolve delivery problems. 
3.  Create the forecast for product line supported using forecasting module of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and enter in ERP system to enable the execution of MPS/MRP. 
4.  Meet with Production/Engineering/Product Development to review current and future projects, to communicate schedules and expectations, and to provide assistance for any projects they have underway. Work on capacity utilization projects to determine what gaps may exist in the future. 
5.  Create, review, and revise production schedules to constantly balance supply and demand issues. Constantly consider capacity, manpower, projects, and maintenance needs. 
6.  Work with each supplier to assure adequate supplies are on hand to support the requirements of the production schedule. Consider supplier lead-time, transit time, flexibility of both Terumo Cardiovascular and supplier schedule. 
7.  Prepare end of the month reports. 
8.  Product structure maintenance and new product set-up structure in ERP system.

9.  Assist with cost saving projects in various functions. 
10. Review specification changes. 
11. Participate in supplier audits as required. 
12. Negotiate contracts with suppliers, assist with identification of alternative suppliers, reduce supplier base by development agreements, etc. 
13. Support the new product development process; this includes suggestions for commodities and suppliers, and cost analysis for materials. 
14. May function as backup for supervisor when supervisor is not available. 
15. If required, utilizes the systems and processes in place to attract, develop, engage, train, and retain talented Associates; creating a work environment where Associates can realize their full potential, thus allowing the organization to meet business needs. 
16. Perform other duties as assigned. 

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

The position exists in an office environment within a manufacturing facility. May require the use of personal protective equipment and gowning procedures as applicable for the site. Requires sitting for long periods of time with occasional stooping, bending, reaching, grasping, etc. May require occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, of objects up to, but not limited to, 25 lbs. Frequent repetitive motion tasks performed. Requires travel up to 10%. This position may be eligible to work remotely 40% of the time. This may change based on job responsibilities, project/business needs and/or Associate job performance.  In all cases Associates may need to have on-site presence for designated meetings and compliance related activities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
Qualifications/ Background Experiences

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of four years of Supply Chain or Operations Management experience or a four-year college degree in Business, Operations Management or related field and a minimum of two years of related experience. Intermediate computer software skills, i.e. Microsoft Office. APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certification in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM) preferred.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $76,323.00 to $95,874.00. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
