CLAW Logistics, a top source for full-service, supply chain management for Logistics, Warehousing and Distribution is seeking a Terminal Manager for our Toledo facility.

The Terminal Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and profitability of the terminal. This role oversees all terminal functions including operations, fleet maintenance coordination, driver management, safety compliance, customer service, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership
    • Direct all daily terminal operations including dispatch, yard management, dock operations, and fleet utilization.
    • Monitor freight volumes and forecast labor, equipment, and capacity needs.
  • Driver & Workforce Management
    • Manage disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.
    • Promote driver engagement, safety awareness, and a positive work culture.
  • Financial Oversight
    • Control labor costs, overtime, maintenance expenses, and other operating costs.
    • Prepare and present monthly performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Fleet & Safety
    • Ensure all equipment meets DOT standards and company safety requirements.
    • Monitor equipment condition, cleanliness, and road readiness.
  • Customer Relations
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key terminal customers.
    • Partner with sales team to evaluate operational feasibility of new business.
  • Facility and Asset Management
    • Ensure proper maintenance of terminal building and yard.
    • Coordinate repairs and capital improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.

5-10+ years of experience in transportation/logistics.

3-5+ years in leadership or terminal management.

Demonstrated budget management experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and FMCSA compliance

Understanding of fleet maintenance best practices

Knowledge of Hours of Service regulations and ELD systems.

Experience with TMS platforms.

Strategic planning and operational forecasting

Strong leadership and team development skills
