Job description

Deering Bay Yacht and Country Club, located in Coral Gables, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Tennis Shop Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fastpaced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Part Time, Saturday and Sunday 8:30am - 4:00pm. 15 hours a week. $17.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities of the Tennis Shop Attendant:

  • Schedules and assigns court times.
  • Books lessons and clinics for Members and guests.
  • Assists Members and guests on the telephone and at the tennis Pro Shop desk.
  • Adjusts court sheets due to rain delays and other unforeseen conflicts, as needed.
  • Offers superior customer service while selling merchandise and assisting management in merchandising, inventory control, court reservations, and special events preparation.

Minimum Qualifications for the Tennis Shop Attendant:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Qualifications:

  • Must have knowledge of Tennis and related verbiage
  • Demonstrates desire to work in Customer Service.
  • Flexible schedule during events/tournaments.
  • Some computer skills preferred.
  • Able to stand for long periods and due some moderate lifting. I.e filling ice and water coolers
