Drawing upon our global team and expansive network of senior advisors, we provide advisory services across our five business segments on a stand-alone or fully integrated basis to help our clients solve complex business challenges. Our clients include a significant number of the Fortune 100 and FTSE 100, as well as other corporations, financial institutions and organizations.
Our full range of advisory services includes strategic communications, investor relations, financial transactions and restructuring, management consulting, physical and cyber risk, organizational design, board and executive search, geopolitics and government affairs, corporate governance and ESG.
The firm has more than 1,800 employees located in 50+ offices around the world.
Role Overview
This role sits at the center of how Teneo's U.S. Strategy & Communications business delivers for clients.
As Senior Resource Manager, you will drive how teams are deployed across accounts - ensuring the right talent is aligned to the highest-priority work while optimizing utilization, team performance, and overall business efficiency.
You will partner closely with practice and account leaders to inform staffing decisions, provide visibility into capacity, and bring structure and insight to how the business operates at scale.
This is a high-impact, highly visible role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, professional services environments and enjoys solving complex operational challenges that directly influence client delivery. The ideal candidate brings experience in consulting, professional services, or high-performance, team-based environments who bring a strong operational and analytical mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Staffing & Deployment
  • Lead the day-to-day staffing of teams across the U.S. Strategy & Communications business
  • Partner with senior leaders to align talent to client work, balancing business priorities, team capacity, and skillsets
  • Maintain a real-time view of team availability, utilization, skillsets, experience, and preferences
  • Support smooth transitions across projects, accounts, and teams

Business Operations & Planning
  • Drive visibility into utilization, capacity, and staffing trends across the business
  • Support forecasting and workforce planning aligned to pipeline and revenue expectations
  • Identify gaps and optimize deployment to improve efficiency and delivery outcomes
  • Contribute to broader operational planning and decision-making across the platform

Data, Insights & Process Improvement
  • Own and enhance staffing-related data, reporting, and tools
  • Build dashboards and insights to support leadership decision-making
  • Identify and implement improvements to staffing processes, systems, and ways of working
  • Use data and judgment to flag risks and opportunities related to capacity, skills, and team structure

Stakeholder Management
  • Act as a trusted partner to practice leaders, account leads, and team members on staffing and deployment decisions
  • Build strong relationships across the business to understand evolving needs and priorities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and People teams to align on workforce planning and business objectives

Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives
  • Support broader operational, commercial, or strategic initiatives as business needs evolve
  • Act as a connective point across global S&C teams and other business segments and functions, helping drive alignment and consistency in how the business operates.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, professional services operations, staffing / deployment, business operations, or chief of staff roles
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, client-driven environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort working with data to inform decisions
  • Ability to bring structure to ambiguous situations and translate them into actionable plans
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across seniority levels
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in advisory, communications, or consulting environments
  • Familiarity with utilization management, workforce planning, or staffing models
  • Track record of improving operational processes or scaling team-based delivery models
