Job description

Responsibilities
  • Work with teams to generate virtual and/or analytical solutions to identify technology gaps, demonstrate the operational benefits of new mission concepts in complex operational scenarios, develop requirements, and test systems.
  • Accountable for the execution of work and delivery of products from your section.
  • Responsible for direct line management activities for the team, including performance development and appraisal (including salary planning), career development, staffing allocation and ensuring your team has the resources needed to perform their work, and ensuring adherence to company policies and administrative requirements.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and business alignment.
  • Responsible for the flow of communications between your section and Raytheon management, flowing communications down to your team and providing status and reports up to Raytheon management.
  • Interface with government and external contractor customers to determine requirements, collaborate in tool development, and perform an evaluation of end-to-end system needs to discover system interfaces and data connectivity requirements across the kill-chain.
  • Work on the modeling of system and mission kill chains with tools such as Government, Commercial, and Raytheon simulations (e.g. AFSIM, RCADE).
  • Give presentations of developed tools, capabilities, and analytical results to internal, external, and government customers.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Experience with simulation interfaces such as Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS), High Level Architecture (HLA), and Test and Training Enabling Architecture (TENA).
  • Experience with Numerical Optimization Techniques, Analysis of Alternatives, or Design of Experiments.
  • Experience with Military Operations Analysis.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
