Job description

We’re seeking several Voter Assistants / Clerks to work with us and our community throughout Pinellas County.  This is an excellent opportunity for you to support our community and represent our government!  Sound good? Take a closer look below and apply immediately.
Pay rate: $14.00/hour 
Schedule: Monday–Friday, hours of business are 7am to 7pm.
Flexible schedule with opportunities for overtime during peak voting periods

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet the public and professionally, answer questions, provide direction, and help guide them through the process of submitting their documentation
  • Secure documentation in officially authorized containers and accurately document all collected paperwork
  • Maintain and adhere to strict chain of custody procedures at all times
  • Follow all state and local laws, rules, and standard operating procedures
  • Immediately report any irregularities, security concerns, or compliance issues to a supervisor
  • Provide courteous, neutral, and professional assistance to the public
