The Tennis Operations & Video Intern supports the daily operations of the IMG Academy Tennis Program across year-round training, camps, travel, video collection, and special events. This role provides hands-on exposure to elite tennis operations and athlete development. You work closely with coaches, operations staff, and program leadership to ensure smooth execution of training, events, and athlete support services.
Key Responsibilities:
Tennis Program & Camp Support
  • Assist with daily tennis operations for academy training and camps
  • Support camp logistics including court setup, equipment, hydration, and daily flow
  • Assist with athlete check-in and check-out during camps
  • Track attendance and help ensure athletes are where they need to be
  • Serve as a point of contact for basic athlete and camper questions

Travel & Event Support:
  • Assist with team travel logistics including packing, equipment organization, and itineraries
  • Help prepare athletes and coaches for off-campus competitions and trips
  • Support execution of special events such as senior night, team functions, and banquets
  • Assist with on-site event and tournament setup, breakdown, and coordination
  • Assist with on-site tournaments

Video Collection & Management:
  • Assist with collecting, organizing, and uploading tennis training and match video
  • Help maintain the tennis video library for athlete development and recruiting use
  • Clip and organize video content as requested by coaches or staff
  • Support basic video tagging, file naming, and archive organization
  • Assist with gathering photo and video assets for internal use

College Placement Support:
  • Assist with organizing college placement materials and athlete information
  • Help track basic recruiting documentation and video availability
  • Support staff with administrative tasks related to college placement processes
  • Assist with preparing materials for college coach visits or recruiting events

Administrative & Program Support:
  • Assist with schedules, rosters, and basic data entry
  • Help prepare internal reports, checklists, and event documents
  • Support equipment organization and inventory as needed
  • Assist tennis operations staff with day-to-day tasks

Learning Outcomes:
  • Gain hands-on experience in elite tennis program operations
  • Learn how camps, travel, and events are executed in a high-performance setting
  • Develop skills in organization, communication, and time management
  • Gain exposure to video workflows and college placement support
  • Work closely with coaches and operations staff in a professional environment

Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sports Management, Event Management, or a related field
  • Interest in tennis and athlete development
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Comfortable working flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment and remain on your feet for extended periods
  • Tennis playing or coaching experience is a plus but not requires
