Job description

We are seeking experienced warehouse order sectors / pickers to join our temporary travel team!
Humano offers Daily Pay! Payroll is bi-weekly, with the option to access earnings instantly! Work and access funds same day! (Have funds available soon after completed shift)
JOB SUMMARY
This is a temporary travel position that requires using applicable material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner in a warehouse environment. The position is charged with the movement of freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor in warehouse environment. A temporary order selector will be placed on assignment based on availability and qualifications. Temporary assignments generally last 1-6 months and the employee is housed in a company paid for hotel and provided transportation to the job site and daily per diem. Warehouse location may vary across the United States.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Accurately select case pick orders according to customer and warehouse requirements.
  • Travel throughout assigned warehouse areas to locate products and complete orders.
  • Verify product descriptions, quantities, item numbers, and other order information.
  • Safely handle and move cases of product.
  • Build stable and organized pallets according to established procedures.
  • Operate warehouse equipment as authorized and trained.
  • Maintain productivity and accuracy standards.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
  • Report damaged products, inventory discrepancies, equipment issues, or other concerns to a supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1-year previous warehouse experience preferred; order selecting (picking) 1+ year
  • 6 months' experience operating a forklift, reach truck, electric pallet jack, or other warehouse material handling required
  • Experience using Vo-Collect and/or RF scanner preferred
  • Replenishing experience and working the dock
  • Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work
  • The ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment - continuously lifting and moving up to 75lbs, possibly loading/unloading
  • The ability to meet fast-paced Client service, productivity goals and standards
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays AND work overtime, without advanced notice
  • Must be prepared to work in different warehouse climates/environments ranging from dry, chill, freezer. Must be willing to work in a cooler/freezer environment and adapt to warm and cold temperatures (freezer gear will be provided)
  • Must adhere to all client and humano safety guidelines

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 50 - 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The employee may occasionally be exposed to a variety of extreme conditions, including hot and cold temperatures. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Safety gear is required at all times.
