About the job

The Marketing & Events Specialist will coordinate trade shows, customer meetings, consumer

response activities, and marketing support functions while helping execute strategic marketing

initiatives and maintain strong brand presence across all channels.

We're looking for someone who

● Holds a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred)

● Has 3–5 years of experience in marketing, event planning, customer service, or related

industries

● Has experience coordinating trade shows, customer events, and sponsorship activations

● Demonstrates strong organizational and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments

● Communicates effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams

● Has strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

● Is comfortable working independently and making decisions with minimal supervision

● Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Canva (required)

● Can maintain professionalism and strong customer service under pressure

● Is flexible to travel and work extended or irregular hours as needed

● Holds a valid California Driver’s License and is insurable

● (Preferred) Is bilingual in English and Spanish

● (Preferred) Has experience in the produce, agriculture, or food industry

What you'll do

● Coordinate company participation in customer and industry trade shows

● Support booth setup, branding materials, sponsorship activations, and event logistics

● Coordinate onsite and remote customer meetings, catering, travel, and hotel arrangements

● Prepare and manage trade show budgets and post-event reporting

● Lead planning meetings and support execution for larger events

● Maintain trade show tool kits, promotional materials, and branded assets

● Respond to consumer inquiries through email, phone, and social platforms

● Coordinate incident tracking and collaborate with internal teams on consumer response

processes

● Prepare monthly consumer response and activity reports

● Maintain product photo libraries, marketing templates, and sales support materials

● Assist with presentations, retail demo kits, and product sample requests

● Coordinate customer and visitor tours with internal departments

● Prepare expense reports and support administrative marketing functions

● Maintain consistent company branding across print and visual media

● Support additional marketing and event-related projects as assigned

Physical requirements

● Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the workday

● Must be comfortable working both in office and event environments

● Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs

● Must be able to climb stairs, reach, stoop, and assist with trade show setup activities

● Must be able to use office equipment including computers, phones, and printers

● Must have sufficient verbal, written, visual, and hearing abilities to perform job duties

● Must be able to travel and drive for business-related activities
