Job description

Maintenance Worker - Full Time (Temporary)
Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:00pm
Hourly Rate: $22.89
Perform all needed repairs and services to maintain the safety, security and proper operation of the facility in accordance with departmental procedures and state and local policies. Must be capable of performing general maintenance and repairs. Responsibilities include:
  1. Assisting with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC .
  2. Assisting with snow removal (salt, sand and shovel walkways) and lawn care as needed.
  3. Moving equipment/furniture as needed.
  4. Performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities Operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience (in a health care facility preferred).
  • Able to work independently.
  • Willingness to be on-call for emergencies.
  • Must possess a clean driver’s license.
  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Must read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Must climb ladders and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
