Job description

Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking a Groundskeeper who will be responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of all outdoor areas. This is a first shift position working 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; however, you must be available for on-call snow removal during winter months.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Mow lawns, edge sidewalks, and maintain turf areas
  • Clear debris, leaves, and litter from outdoor areas
  • Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform snow plowing, shoveling, and salt during winter months to ensure safe walkways and parking lots
  • Inspect grounds regularly and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Perform other duties assigned

Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
  • Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance experience is preferred
  • Must have the ability to operate lawn mowers, tractors, trimmers, blowers, and snow removal equipment
  • Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, kneel, and work in various weather conditions
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must be dependable, self-motivated, able to work independently, and takes pride in your work
  • Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow
  • Must be able to use protective equipment as required
  • Must have the ability to ensure the grounds are always well-kept and safe for employees, visitors, and the community
