Job Title: Senior Full Stack & Cloud Platform Engineer (Hybrid Cloud & DevOps) Role Overview We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Full Stack & Cloud Platform Engineer to serve as a technical lead for our Rapid Solutions organization. In this role, you will bridge the gap between application development and cloud infrastructure, spearheading the integration of highly resilient, scalable, and secure hybrid cloud solutions. As a technical subject matter expert (SME), you will guide development teams through cloud-native transitions, anchor Proof of Concept (PoC) activities, and establish the foundational patterns for our next-generation web applications. Key Responsibilities Cloud Strategy & Integration: Lead the execution of hybrid cloud strategies. Assess foundational services and translate business requirements into scalable patterns across AWS and on-premise managed environments. Full Stack Development: Drive high-performance Java Fullstack engineering, utilizing microservices architecture, serverless patterns, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular). Container Orchestration: Direct the implementation of container management practices using Red Hat OpenShift (OCP), Kubernetes, and Docker. DevOps & Automation: Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD best practices. Oversee automated testing, code quality scanning, and automated deployments using tools like Jenkins and Jira. Observability & Monitoring: Lead the implementation and maintenance of Splunk environments across cloud and on-premise solutions. Develop custom dashboards, reports, and data parsing logic. Security & Governance: Apply Cloud Security best practices, including IAM policies, WAF, SAML, and OWASP mitigation strategies. Ensure all designs reflect the "Well-Architected Framework." Technical Leadership: Mentor development teams, lead design reviews, and provide input into IT portfolio strategy and business case development. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field required (Master's Degree preferred). Experience: * 8+ years of broad IT experience; 6+ years in professional software development. 2+ years of focused experience in Cloud Architecture and OpenShift/Kubernetes deployment. Technical Mastery: Highly proficient in Java Fullstack Engineering and Cloud-native services (12-Factor App). Practical experience with Linux System Administration in distributed environments. Expert knowledge of Splunk Enterprise and Universal Forwarder administration. Process: Deeply well-versed in Agile/Scrum methodologies and the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
