Job description



An established financial services organization is seeking a Technical Scrum Master (Agile Delivery & Business Analysis) for a hybrid role in Pensacola, FL or Vienna, VA. This position combines Agile delivery leadership with technical analysis to help teams translate business needs into clear, actionable work and support predictable execution.


About the Opportunity:




  • Shift: Day shift




  • Schedule: Monday through Friday (hybrid)




  • Hours: Standard business




  • Setting: Hybrid




Responsibilities:




  • Serve as Scrum Master for an Agile technology delivery team.




  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and system demos.




  • Coach teams on Scrum and SAFe practices while promoting continuous improvement and self-organization.




  • Track and remove or escalate impediments, risks, dependencies, and delivery issues.




  • Partner with product, architecture, development, and program stakeholders to refine backlogs, analyze technical needs, and support PI planning and cross-team alignment.




Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience.




  • 5+ years of experience in Agile delivery roles, including Scrum Master and/or technical analyst experience.




  • Demonstrated experience serving as a Scrum Master for technology delivery teams.




  • Experience working with technical teams and systems such as APIs, integrations, data flows, cloud environments, or service-based architectures.




  • Strong ability to analyze complex systems and translate ambiguous requirements into clear, executable backlog items.




  • Strong understanding of SAFe Agile, Scrum, and Lean principles.




  • Experience with Agile lifecycle tools such as Azure DevOps.




  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.




Desired Skills:




  • Prior business analysis experience.




  • SAFe Scrum Master, CSM, or equivalent Agile certification.




  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale transformation programs.
