Niyam is seeking an experienced Salesforce Scrum Masterfor one of our federal clients. The Salesforce Scrum Master leads Agile delivery teams supporting Salesforce-based solutions within a federal environment. This role is responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, managing delivery timelines, removing impediments, and ensuring alignment between technical teams and government stakeholders to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions. This position is associated with a proposal submission and is contingent upon contract award. Candidates selected through this process may be considered for employment should the contract be awarded to our organization.


Roles and Responsibilities

    • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
    • Guide teams in Agile best practices and ensure adherence to Scrum framework and principles.
    • Manage project timelines, scope, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
    • Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to refine, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog.
    • Support Salesforce delivery teams by coordinating across developers, admins, QA, and business analysts.
    • Identify and remove team impediments to maintain sprint velocity and delivery timelines.
    • Provide regular status updates, risk reporting, and delivery metrics to internal and government stakeholders.
    • Track and report on Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and sprint progress.
    • Ensure alignment with federal delivery requirements, including documentation and compliance standards.
    • Coordinate across environments and teams to support releases and deployment readiness.
    • Promote continuous improvement and foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment.


    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • US Citizenship with ability to successfully complete a federal background investigation.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field .
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management or Agile delivery roles.
    • At least 5+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master on Agile teams.
    • Experience supporting Salesforce projects or working with Salesforce delivery teams.
    • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
    • Experience managing scope, schedule, risks, and dependencies across technical teams.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and government stakeholders.
    • Experience using Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
    • Ability to track and report on Agile delivery metrics (velocity, burndown, KPIs).
    • Experience working in federal or regulated environments.


    Preferred Skills

    • Scrum certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
    • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification.
    • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder).
