Job description

Job Title: Scrum Master
Clearance Required: Public Trust, US Citizen;
Work Location: Remote.
Alpha Omega is searching for an experienced Scrum Master to join one of our long-term Federal projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or significant segments of large and complex projects.
  • Analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions.
  • Provide applications systems analysis and develop long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities.
  • Ensure adherence to agile methodologies, Lean-Agile principles, and the SAFe framework.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  • Coach and mentor team members on agile practices and principles.
  • Manage and resolve conflicts within the team or between stakeholders.
  • Utilize Agile and project management tools such as Azure DevOps to track progress and facilitate collaboration.

Required Qualifications:
Required Experience/Skills:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role, plus 4-5 years of professional experience.
  • SAFE Program Consultant (SPC) certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, Lean-Agile principles, and the SAFe framework.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Experience in managing and resolving conflicts.
  • Proficiency in Agile and project management tools such as Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading large and complex projects.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and practices.

Salary and Benefit Information:
The likely salary range for this position is $92,000 - $107,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
