Job description

We are seeking a temporary Product Service Support Technician to join our dynamic team! This position is responsible for supporting and facilitating the day-to-day care of animals in the assigned facility.
Monday - Friday: Day Hours - rotating weekends
Temporary 2 - 4-month assignment
Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and/or changing animal cages and associated equipment
  • Assist with animal enrichment
  • Supporting deliveries from both internal and external sources
  • Stocking, rotating, and storing supplies
  • Construction of various transport boxes
  • Use of loading and transporting equipment (e.g., carts, pallet truck, etc)
  • Supporting the transport and dispatch of animal shipments, samples, equipment and consumables.
  • Providing general housekeeping and waste removal to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Providing weekend and or holiday cover as needed.
  • Operating decontamination and sanitation equipment as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

To be successful in this role, this position requires the Product Service Support Technician brings:
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently
  • Ability to follow sterile entry procedures and maintain neat, clean, and safe conditions
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures
  • Skills to accurately record, calculate, and maintain detailed records
  • Able to work as a team member
  • English communication - reading, writing and oral
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person's relevant experience and/or education level.
