Our cutting-edge on-demand web and mobile platform seamlessly connects licensed dental professionals with dental offices, meeting both temporary and full-time staffing needs. At GoTu, innovation meets meaningful relationships to empower practices and professionals alike.
We're seeking a strategic and hands-on Corporate Controller who will anchor the accounting operations during a period of high-growth and finance team reorganization. This leader will be responsible for establishing scalable financial infrastructure, driving process discipline, and managing a small team. They must be adept at implementing AI-native workflows and tooling to handle transaction volume exceeding $500 million.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and execute the timely and accurate monthly financial close process, including maintaining the general ledger and preparing consolidated financial statements.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing accounting team.
  • Spearhead the design and implementation of scalable, AI-native finance workflows and tooling to support a high-volume marketplace business operating over $500M in transaction volume, including initiatives to:
    • Optimize the monthly financial close through AI-assisted tools for close checklist tracking, bottleneck identification, and issue resolution.
    • Enhance accounts receivable efficiency by overseeing the deployment of AI-assisted collections tools and managing transaction disputes (e.g., Stripe dispute classification).
    • Partner with FP&A to implement AI-assisted cost classification and tagging systems for accurate segmentation and reporting of variable versus fixed costs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison and manager for external advisors, including the annual financial statement audit and federal/state tax compliance).
  • Manage all accounting operations, systems administration, and internal controls to ensure data integrity and compliance across all US-based legal entities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., Product, Sales, HR) on projects such as defining new payment terms, credit application approvals, and implementing new accounting operations policies.
  • Manage payroll close and journal entries, expense and credit card reconciliation, and ensure proper controls over disbursements (ACH/wire approvals).

Key Competencies:
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably in a high-growth, tech-enabled marketplace or SaaS business.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (required)
