The Position

Schedule: This position is within a 24/7 call center. It is expected for this individual to have flexibility working 2nd or 3rd shifts and/or weekends, including some holidays. Your schedule will be determined on a quarterly basis.

The Opportunity
As a Technical Support Specialist on the Tissue/Histology team, you serve as the primary support liaison between Roche and our customers, as well as serve as a technical resource for internal sales and marketing partners. You will be responsible for providing phone support and managing the resolution of complex technical issues involving laboratory equipment usage, software, and diagnostic applications for Roche Tissue Diagnostics products. You will be responsible for tracking and maintaining records in accordance with Roche Quality and FDA requirements. In addition to technical problem resolution, the technical support specialist is also responsible for the overall success of the company through interactions that develop and promote loyal business relationships.

This is a remote based role.

Who You Are

  • You have a Minimum Associate's degree in Medical Technology, Histotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Molecular/Biology/Chemistry, or similar.

  • You have at least 2+ years of experience working in this or a similar role

  • You have a customer service focus with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • You hold a Bachelor of Science.

  • ASCP certification -While extensive on-the-job training is provided, the role requires industry knowledge of clinical laboratory topics

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is 60,300.00 - 112,100.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
