What You'll Do

• Provide post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular patients
• Assist with emergency surgeries on cardiothoracic and vascular patients
• Take consults/referrals from ED, Cath Lab, and hospital providers
• Participate in vein harvesting during surgeries
• Assist in surgical procedures, including writing prescriptions and ordering tests
• Coordinate patient care and perform rounding
• Interpret diagnostic tests and manage emergent patient needs

What You Need

• State license as a Physician Assistant (PA)
• Experience in inpatient/hospital settings, preferably cardiothoracic or vascular surgery
• Ability to handle emergency surgical procedures
• Proficiency in EMR documentation (Epic preferred)

• Previous experience with vascular tissue retrieval or vein harvesting
• Strong team collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
