What qualifications do you need to work at poison control?

Additional certifications such as CPR or toxicology training may be preferred, and familiarity with poison control protocols is beneficial.

Both roles require RN licensure, but the temporary role emphasizes flexibility and agency work, while the registered nurse role focuses on specialized poison control expertise.

What is the least stressful RN job?

A temporary RN in poison control typically experiences lower stress levels compared to emergency or critical care roles, as the environment is more predictable and involves handling consultations rather than high-acuity patient care.
