Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Acute Care for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Massachusetts.

  Contract Details
  • Location: Near Springfield, MA
  • Length: 13 weeks (with potential to extend)
  • Start Dates: 7/14 or 8/4 (Only start dates available)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 32โ€“40 hours/week (4โ€“5 shifts)
  • Schedule & Shift Flexibility: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability is required. The facility traditionally runs 8-hour shifts but is willing to create a custom mix of 8, 12, and 16-hour shifts to help you hit your hours.
    • Important Note: When you apply, please let me know your exact preferred shift mix so I can include it in your submittal (e.g., "I am open to working double 16s on Friday and Saturday to hit 32 hours").
  • Weekends & Holidays: Every weekend is required. Holidays are required if they fall on a weekend.
  • Time Off Policy: Absolutely no time off is allowed during the 13-week contract per DPH guidelines. Breaks between contracts may be considered.
  • Radius Rule: Local candidates are not accepted. Please notify me if your tax home is within 200 miles of the facility.
Requirements & Experience
  • Clinical Skills: Must be telemetry proficient and highly comfortable managing vent/trach patients and higher acuity LTC.
  • Floating Requirements: You must be willing to float between the four long-term care units listed below as needed.
Unit & Patient Population Details
  • Patient Population: Primarily chronic vents, dementia, neurological, and end-of-life care.
  • Ventilator Unit: 20 beds (Staffing: 4 RNs + 4โ€“5 CNAs)
  • Neuro Unit: 20 beds (Staffing: 3 RNs/LPNs + 4โ€“5 CNAs)
  • Locked Dementia (Memory Care): ~15 beds (Staffing: 1โ€“3 RNs + 4 CNAs)
  • Transitional (End of Life): 22 beds (Staffing: 3 RNs + 5โ€“6 CNAs)
