Plant Manager

We are looking for a Plant Manager to join our Power Plant team in Pecos, Texas.

What will you be doing

As a Plant Manager, you will be accountable to plan and manage plant activities and lead the team at the plant to ensure customer satisfaction and to reach set contractual quality, financial, cost and time targets.

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 5 years of experience managing power plant operations and maintenance, strong team leadership abilities and excellent customer relationship management skills.

As a Plant Manager, you will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Plan, lead and manage agreement management team, tasks, operation and maintenance activities
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and to reach set contractual quality, financial, cost, EHS and time targets.
  • Primary point of contact for Customer at site, ensuring excellent communication and coordination
  • Ensure that the Agreement manager is adequately and timely informed on Customer expectations, requirements, risks & opportunities.
  • Continuously focus on how to create value for customers business
  • Acting as a Wartsila Ambassador, creating team spirit with direct and indirect stakeholders to create good communication, harmony, and cooperation.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • 5-10 years' experience in power plant operation and maintenance
  • Strong Leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading a team to achieve corporate objectives
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills
  • Mature Quality and Health & Safety mindset
