Primary Purpose:
Conduct outreach in congruent with marine turtle conservation strategies outlined in the Marine Turtle Permit and Guidelines as set forth by FWC under the supervision of an FWC permitted Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation program administrator, Principle Investigator, or Project Manager. All applicants must already be an employee of the Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program in order to be considered.
Temporary employment is of limited duration, and under the terms of NSU's benefits plan and policies, not eligible for company benefits.

Essential Job Functions:
Job duties may include some or all of the following functions listed below based on level of experience with Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program and/or endangered species
1. Present an educational presentation to the general public
2. Participate in local outreach events throughout the community including but not limited to table talks, school events, hatchling releases, and other events around Broward County

Job Requirements:
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends
2. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
3. Communicate messages of conservation effectively to member of the community
4. Be able to communicate and maintain working relationships with all contracted staff, volunteers, County and Federal employees, and the general public at all times
Required Certifications/Licensures: Must be able to complete all required training modules for each component of beach monitoring activities
Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Major (if required: Biology or related science
Required Experience: Must already be an employee of the Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program
