Job description

  • Support project budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking activities
  • Monitor project spend and analyze variances vs. plan
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial reporting
  • Maintain and update project budgets within internal systems
  • Track KPIs and support performance reporting
  • Collaborate with project teams to improve cost control processes
  • Assist with work order creation, tracking, and closeout
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors on budget-related items
  • Support audits, financial controls (including SOX), and planning cycles
  • Contribute to process improvements and reporting tools

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of recent experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Experience in the construction, MEP, utilities, telecommunications, or similar industry preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or similar discipline preferred
