Inside Sales Representative
Our client is a prominent global provider of specialized industrial equipment and engineered solutions. With a long-standing history of innovation, they support essential infrastructure across multiple sectors, including large-scale agriculture, renewable energy, food processing, and advanced material manufacturing. 
This is a contract-to-hire (temp-to-perm) position. Candidates must be available for daily onsite work and comfortable commuting to the Harlna, IA area.

Job Duties
Customer Interaction & Support
  • Manage a high volume of inbound communications regarding order placement, returns, and delivery tracking.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring a professional resolution to complaints and service requests.
  • Facilitate initial assessments for warranty claims and coordinate documentation for technical reviews.
  • Conduct outbound follow-ups and outreach within assigned territories to support business development and logistical coordination.
Order Coordination & Administration
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of order entry, ensuring all data is accurately reflected in the internal management system.
  • Audit customer accounts and historical order data to verify the technical accuracy of new requests against production capabilities.
  • Manage the Return Goods Authorization (RGA) process for various scenarios, including credits and warranty-related returns.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering department to translate technical analysis into actionable rework or replacement orders.
Sales Support & Quotations
  • Synthesize technical specifications and pricing data to produce comprehensive formal quotations for prospective clients.
  • Provide essential administrative and logistical support to the outside sales team to streamline territory management.
Requirements
  • Communication Excellence: Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between customers, internal engineering teams, and field sales staff.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: A solid mechanical aptitude is necessary to understand complex product applications.
  • Attention to Detail: Proven ability to manage precise data entry and verify intricate technical details without oversight.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Capability to navigate warranty disputes and service challenges with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience navigating ERP or similar order management systems to research and document client history.
  • Location: Reliable transportation and the ability to commute daily to the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area is required.
