Machine Operator (Process Technician) - Kearny Mesa!1st shift- $18.00/hour, Contract-to-hire

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to operate and set up automatic process equipment within a microelectronic cleanroom manufacturing environment. The role involves reading drawings and diagrams, performing set-ups for various products, conducting first article inspections, and troubleshooting machine errors to ensure quality products. This position supports other manufacturing duties and requires excellent computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate automatic process equipment.
  • Basic troubleshooting of process equipment
  • Perform microscope inspections for 1-3 hours intermittently throughout the day.
  • Conduct computer data entry for 1-2 hours a day.
  • Assemble parts as part of routine operations.
  • Perform heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs, 3-4 times per hour.

Essential Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in equipment operation, ideally with automated production equipment.
  • Proficiency in process equipment operation and set-up.
  • Ability to perform inspections and troubleshoot automated production equipment.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and cleanroom environments.
