These nurses may be employed for a short duration and are not guaranteed a set number of hours. Their responsibilities usually include patient assessments, administering medications, assisting with procedures, and providing patient education, just like regular clinic RNs. This role is ideal for nurses seeking flexible hours or supplemental income.
