Job description

Temporary Experienced RN Assignment

This is a temporary experienced RN assignment. The RN's role is to identify patient needs and priorities for care through assessment. The RN plans and delegates care based on patient needs. The RN evaluates the patient's response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (renewable once for a total of 26 weeks/year)

Assignment Type: Temp with Full Time hours (PRN Status). You will be considered an employee for a minimum of 13 Weeks.

Assignment Shifts: Available Day & Night shifts. Minimum of 48 hours per week for 13 weeks / rotating weekends; Eligible for overtime. Not eligible for lump sum extra shift incentives, eligible for shift differentials.

Assignment Benefits: Limited benefit plan (High Deductible Health Plan ONLY, no disability/life insurance, ETO accrual or 401(k) matching)

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of state board School of Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure

Experience Preferred: Minimum of 2 year experience in Critical Care and/or Emergency Care strongly preferred, with flexibility to work in Med-Surg Units. For internal candidates, minimum of 1 year of service in current position.

Additional Skills/Abilities: BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period. ACLS required if applicable to specific unit.
