  • Understand Game Design and Technical Requirements: Leverage your understanding of game design, engine capabilities, and platform limitations to ensure your work aligns with both creative and technical goals.

  • Implement Feedback: Implement feedback efficiently and effectively, refining your work to meet project objectives without compromising the overall vision.
  • Maintain Communication: Keep communication consistent among the art team, production, and design, ensuring all teams are aligned and working toward the same goals.
  • Task Estimation and Delivery: Estimate tasks with high accuracy, break down steps to completion, and deliver on time while maintaining the highest quality.

Who you are:

  • You have 1+ years of professional art experience in game development, honing your skills and contributing to engaging game worlds and assets.
  • You are proficient with Unreal Engine, Substance Painter, Zbrush, and 3ds Max, leveraging these tools to create high-quality 3D assets and environments.
  • You possess strong modeling and texturing skills, ensuring your work is both visually stunning and optimized for game performance.
  • You have a solid understanding of artistic principles and apply this knowledge to create visually appealing, functional assets.
  • You have expertise in world- and level-building, with the ability to create immersive levels that meet design and gameplay needs while enhancing the overall player experience.
  • You have experience with physically based materials, using them to create realistic and visually striking textures and surfaces.
  • You demonstrate solid organizational skills, adhering to asset budgets and management practices to ensure the project's efficiency and scalability.
  • You have excellent communication skills, can articulate your process clearly, and welcome critical feedback to continuously improve your work.
  • You have a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new commercial and proprietary software, always seeking ways to enhance your skill set and contribute to the team’s success.
  • You are physically based in the U.S. and legally able to work without employer sponsorship for an indefinite period of time.
