Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is currently recruiting experienced Floor Tech for long term care nursing facility in Lakeland, Florida. Apply today. Walk-ins Welcome! Wedgewood Nursing Home. 1010 Carpenters Way, Lakeland Florida.
Floor Tech Key Duties
  • Maintain all floors by sweeping mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility.
  • Various pieces of equipment are properly and safely operated such as extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.
  • Maintains equipment in good working condition and stores properly in designated locations after each use.
  • Dispose of all garbage throughout the facility.
  • Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Floor Tech Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Environmental Services or housekeeping experience a plus.
  • Prior experience working in a nursing home, hospital or healthcare environment a plus.
  • Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.
