Job description

We're looking for 1 Note Department Temps to join our Note Department! The Note Department Temp performs a variety of centralized service duties pertaining to the servicing of commercial loans including, but not limited to: documentation review, loan maintenance, vendor management, payment/wire processing and research, demand management, GL balancing, reporting, loan documentation preparation, coordination and/or review, documentation storage preparation/maintenance, loan funding and any other duty as assigned

Essential Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  1. Process closed loans and collateral releases accordingly
  2. Balances GLs daily and monthly
  3. Performs daily, weekly, and monthly departmental certifications accurately and timely (payments, advances, wires etc)
  4. Maintains all correspondence and requests though miscellaneous department email box
  5. Manages daily reporting
  6. Reads and understands the Bank's Loan Procedure and Policy Manual
  7. Understand and adhere to all compliance regulations as presented in various training meetings
  8. Answer phone calls and email inquiries promptly and professionally
  9. Uploads and stores loan documentation to applicable software.
  10. In-depth, often complex research.
  11. Generating established reports and processing activity accordingly.
  12. Frequent communication with Business Banking Center personnel and third-party vendors
  13. Maintains advanced knowledge and awareness of financial industry status and trends.
  14. Reinforces the application of superior customer service through his or her own example along with appropriate follow through with involved customers and employees.
  15. Documentation preparation and review.
  16. Loan boarding in order management software as well as third party vendors where applicable.
  17. Wire preparation.
  18. GL Batch preparation and processing.
  19. Reads and understands the Bank's General Loan Manual and all loan policies & procedures.
  20. Understand and adhere to all compliance regulations as presented in various training meetings.
  21. Answer phone calls and email inquiries promptly and professionally.
  22. Uploads and stores loan documentation to applicable software.
  23. In-depth, often complex research.
  24. Generating established reports and processing activity accordingly.
  25. Frequent communication with Business Banking Center personnel and third-party vendors.
  26. Maintains advanced knowledge and awareness of financial industry status and trends.
  27. Reinforces the application of superior customer service through his or her own example along with appropriate follow through with involved customers and employees.
  28. Operates computer terminal or personal computer to obtain and process data.
  29. Treats people with respect; keeps commitments; inspires the trust of others; works ethically and with integrity; upholds organizational values; accepts responsibility for own actions.
