Material Handler

$16.00/hour

8:00am - 4:30pm

Material Handler Responsibilities:
  • Package inbound material including assortment kit assembly using package labeling system and printers, automated packaging equipment, scales, tape guns, mechanical stapler, and shrink wrapping
  • Document packing activity using radio frequency scanners and keyboard data entry
  • Maintain stock of packaging supplies at packing stations
  • Pick orders on floor level of warehouse using non-powered industrial equipment
  • Perform cart put away on floor level of warehouse using non-powered industrial equipment
  • Observe all safety regulations and promote safe working habits
  • Maintain good housekeeping
Requirements for Material Handler:
  • Able to stand / walk for entire shift
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
  • Able to push/pull up to 100 lbs on occasion (team lift)
  • Able to twist, bend, and stoop on a repetitive basis
  • Able to learn internal software program and update inventory scanning devices and computers
  • Able to learn to operate and safely utilize a variety of warehouse lift and product moving equipment
  • Able to add and subtract
  • Able to read and speak English and communicate with customers and coworkers
  • Able to work as a team member and to work under specific instructions
