IBM Websphere MQ Admin

TEKsystems is seeking an IBM WebSphere MQ Admin.

Successful candidates will have experience build data center capabilities and handling the decommission of another.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for configuring, design, development, administration and maintenance of Websphere MQ with 10+ years of experience.

Good knowledge of WMQ environments on 9.2/9.3 and 9.4.

Good amount of knowledge on integrating DataPower appliances with WMQ and Tibco EMS for synchronous and asynchronous secure integrations.

WMQ administration on procuring the VMs, installation of WMQ software in multi-clustered environments with common NAS storage.

Troubleshoot WMQ multi-clustered instances and resolve the issues on time.

Experience in deploying solutions to HA, LB configurations eliminating single points of failure.

Good amount of performance tuning on WMQ environments is preferred.

Work with IBM on PMRs and software related issues.

Connecting applications using distributed queues and troubleshooting via mqrc codes.

Migrate and upgrade of WMQ servers from one version to another without the downtime.

Implementation knowledge on streaming the messages, expiry etc.

Good knowledge on mqrc commands to implement the WMQ objects scripts.

Good knowledge on shell scripting, batch scripts and scheduling the crontabs.

Hands on experience with DevOps tools like Git-Actions, Octopus etc.

Implement the CI/CD pipelines to migrate the WMQ configurations from one environment to other.

Pay and Benefits
