Description

NetCentrics is seeking a Junior Product Engineer to support development and integration efforts within the Palantir Maven Smart System ecosystem supporting Department of Defense mission systems. 

This role contributes to the design, implementation, and deployment of software solutions that integrate data processing, machine learning, and mission-critical workflows. The position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and mission stakeholders. 


Responsibilities 

  • Support development of software components, backend services, and integrations within the Maven Smart System ecosystem.  
  • Build and maintain data pipelines, APIs, and system components integrating mission data sources.  
  • Assist with integrating machine learning models and analytics tools into operational workflows.  
  • Support development of user-facing features and interfaces that enable real-time mission decision support.  
  • Work with engineering teams to integrate new capabilities into the Maven Smart System platform.  
  • Support testing, debugging, deployment, and iteration of mission applications.  
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.  

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.  
  • 1-3 years experience in software development, data engineering, or distributed systems.  
  • Experience with one or more languages such as Python, Java, Go, or TypeScript.  
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes) or secure on-premise environments.  
  • Exposure to data engineering, analytics platforms, or AI/ML pipelines preferred.  
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.  
  • Active Secret clearance required  
  • Must be eligible to obtain TS/SCI
