Purpose of Position:


Del Monte Foods is the Foods Division of Fresh Del Monte, a global grower, producer and marketer of fresh, value-added, and shelf-stable produce. Del Monte Foods has a powerful portfolio of brands, including the iconic Del Monteยฎ, Contadinaยฎ and S&Wยฎ. We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Analytics & BI Specialist.


The Supply Chain Analytics & BI Specialist role is responsible for delivering data-driven insights that improve supply chain performance, enable strategic decision-making, and optimize operations. This role combines analytics expertise, BI leadership, and cross-functional engagement to drive measurable business outcomes.


Accountabilities:


Data Analysis and Strategize:

  • Gather and analyze data from various sources within the supply chain, including inventory levels, transportation costs, supplier performance, and demand forecasts.
  • Practice data stewardship and monitor data integrity while performing analytics processes.
  • Utilize statistical techniques and advanced analytics to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform decision-making and drive process improvements.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance, such as on-time delivery, lead times, and inventory turnover.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process optimization, and service level improvement within the supply chain network.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall supply chain agility.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

  • Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing supply chain processes.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the supply chain organization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in supply chain analytics and business intelligence.
  • Enhance Power BI and Analytics processes across the supply chain.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including planning, operations, procurement, finance, and IT, to gather requirements and develop data-driven solutions that address business needs.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice dissemination across functional areas to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Skills Required:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree (Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Data Science, Engineering)
  • Masterโ€™s Degree in Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience (Supply Chain/Analytics)
  • Relevant work experience in Supply Chain Analytics, Business Intelligence w/in Manufacturing environment
  • Strong proficiency in BI Tools: Power BI (Power Query, DAX), Tableau, or similar
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with data modeling
  • Experience working with supply chain systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, planning tools)
  • Project Management exp โ€“ ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables; VLookUps; Formulas; Logic driven)
  • Data Strategies; Process Improvement Strategies
  • Experience implementing or supporting S&OP / IBP processes
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for advanced analytics
  • CPG/Grocery experience
