Job Description

The Temporary Turn Associate is a temporary position that will provide temporary assistance duringturn. This position will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure thatestablished quality standards are met upon move-in. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-pacedenvironment and has excellent customer service skills.

Reports to: Community Manager & Maintenance Supervisor
Direct Reports: None

Roles and Responsibilities
The duties listed below are an outline of the responsibilities and should not be considered an all inclusive list. As the needs of the community change, these duties may be modified as needed.

  • Perform miscellaneous maintenance duties as assigned including but not limited to painting,minor drywall repairs, replacing batteries, light bulbs, blinds and doors, caulking, power washing, trash removal and furniture removal/install.

  • Assist in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by performing general cleaning and other duties as needed. Assist in the cleaning of available apartments and or models.

  • Perform touch up painting as directed by Community Manager or Maintenance Supervisor andreport any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouses, andcommon areas.

  • Participate in apartment inspections and assist in documentation of overall unit condition.

  • Keep grounds clean and free of debris and trash.

  • Perform housekeeping duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.

  • Ensure adherence to the company's safety and hazard communications programs, policies andprocedures.

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by treating residents, vendors and other team members with respect.

  • Ability to maintain an excellent customer service attitude.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit;use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel,crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability toadjust focus.
