  • Monitor facility entrances and controlled areas for unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
  • Report security incidents, access discrepancies, lost credentials, and potential violations through established channels.
  • Assist with security inspections, self-assessments, audits, and corrective-action tracking.
  • Maintain compliance with Department of Defense, Air Force, installation, and program security policies.
  • Provide general administrative support to the security office, including correspondence, data entry, record maintenance, and status reporting.
  • Perform additional security-related duties as assigned in support of mission requirements.

  • Proficiency with standard office software, databases, email, and electronic recordkeeping systems.
  • Ability to work independently, follow established procedures, and manage multiple priorities in a secure operational environment.
  • Ability to meet all contractual, program, installation, and government access requirements.
Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting a Department of Defense, federal government, military installation, or classified facility.
  • Experience with visitor-control systems, access databases, badge issuance, clearance verification, or personnel-security administration.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense security policies and classified-facility procedures.
Work Environment
  • Work will be performed onsite at Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts.
  • The position may require extended periods of sitting or standing at a visitor-control desk or facility entrance.
