Job description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer to design, manage, and scale our complex, multi-region cloud environments. You will be the backbone of our data operations, ensuring our infrastructure-ranging from distributed query engines to data governance platforms-is resilient, automated, and secure. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical expert who thrives on building robust CI/CD pipelines and managing sophisticated data processing ecosystems at scale.
What You'll Do
Cloud Architecture: Manage and optimize AWS multi-region, resilient cloud services with a specific focus on high-availability data infrastructure.
Pipeline Engineering: Design and maintain extensive CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Maven to ensure seamless code deployment and artifact management.
Data Ecosystem Management: Administer and scale advanced data platforms including Databricks, Starburst (distributed query engines), and version control systems.
Governance & Security: Implement and manage data governance and access control frameworks using Collibra and Immuta.
Automation & Ops: Drive operational excellence through expert-level scripting, Linux system administration, and automated testing to minimize manual intervention.
Who You Are
Technically Grounded: You hold a Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, or a related field, backed by 5+ years of technical experience and 3+ years managing complex systems.
AWS Expert: You have deep, hands-on experience with resilient, multi-region cloud architectures.
Automation-First: You are proficient in scripting and Linux, with a proven track record of using Git and binary repositories (Nexus/Artifactory) to streamline development.
Agile & Collaborative: You are comfortable working in Agile environments using tools like Jira to track and deliver high-quality infrastructure improvements.
