Job Description
Hours:
  • 7 am - 3 pm
  • 1/2 Hour Un paid Lunch

Scope:
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Maintains inventory records of all items in Storeroom.
  • Posts to computerized inventory.
  • Records new materials received and materials dispensed as recorded on requisitions.
  • Prepares items to be delivered, verifying, labeling, and storing items received for inventory control and noting any discrepancies.
  • Performs daily and periodic cyclical inventory counts to verify inventory records and correct any discrepancies.
  • Also, performs physical inventory of storeroom items as required.
  • Receives goods and supplies.
  • Properly documents receipt of non-stock and stock inventory items.
  • Stocks bins and cabinets with inventory items.
  • Based on issue documents, storekeeper distributes materials from storeroom by part and employee badge number and obtains requisition slip(s) for each item.

The duties will include:
  • Initial ID/Labeling of Inventory
  • Purging of Old Inventory
  • Re-labeling Inventory and Excel Spreadsheet Data Entry Qualifications

Qualifications
Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in material and inventory control, shipping, receiving, expediting and warehousing
  • Previous experience driving forklift is desired.
  • Candidate must have driver's license
  • Computer experience - Word, Excel

This is a Temporary/Contract position.
  • Location areas: Walt Whitman Bridge, the Ben Franklin Bridge, the Commodore Barry Bridge and the Betsy Ross Bridge.
  • Duration of contract: 7 Months maybe longer
  • Education/Experience: High School Diploma, 3 + Years
  • Pay Rate: $14- $20 per hr
