Inventory Cycle Counter (Temp to Hire)
Location: Riverside, CA
Pay Range: $30.00/hr.
Schedule: 6am - 2:30pm
Position Summary:
The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through scheduled cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities. This position supports warehouse operations by identifying inventory discrepancies, investigating root causes, and ensuring inventory records accurately reflect physical stock. The Cycle Counter works closely with warehouse, production, and inventory control teams to maintain high levels of inventory integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts according to established inventory control procedures.
  • Verify inventory quantities and locations through physical counts and system comparisons.
  • Investigate, document, and report inventory discrepancies, variances, and root causes.
  • Support inventory reconciliation activities between physical inventory and ERP/WMS systems.
  • Work closely with warehouse, production, receiving, and shipping departments to resolve inventory issues.
  • Assist with annual physical inventories and other inventory audit activities.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ensure inventory transactions are completed accurately and timely within the company systems.
  • Maintain organized inventory locations and support proper material identification practices.
  • Follow all company safety policies, inventory control procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Support general warehouse operations as needed.
Position Requirements:
Required:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2โ€“5 years of experience in inventory control, cycle counting, warehouse operations, or logistics.
  • Valid forklift certification required (or ability to obtain immediately upon hire).
  • Prior experience with ERP/WMS systems preferred.

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred

Work Environment:
  • This is an onsite position based in Riverside, CA and requires being 100% onsite.
