Job description

Position : Inventory - Cycle counter

Location : San Diego, CA

Duration : 12 Months Contract

Start Time : 5:00 AM

End Time : 1:30 PM

Total Hours/week : 40.00

Shift Timings: 5am-1:30pm M-F

Job Description:

  • This position's main focus is inventory cycle counting and to track and monitor inventory within the warehouse and production floor.
  • Requires strong reliance on accuracy, control, monitoring and coordination in order to confirm inventory & investigate count discrepancies.

Responsibilities: Primary Duties:

  • Cycle count raw materials, packaging materials, and non-conforming materials on a daily basis from Warehouse 1 and Warehouse 2, MRB and production area.
  • Utilize client cycle count sheet to process daily cycle counts.
  • Utilize SAP to process cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, current activity, and past activity.
  • Ensure materials are in proper locations. Conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory
  • Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand. Weigh and mark product displaying remaining product left
  • Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervision
  • Communicate and performs root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them

Required:

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Minimum experience 1 year in cycle counting
  • Forklift experience , minimum 1 year
